The 10 megawatt solar power production project was opened in Naghlu

The Ministry of Energy and Water has announced that the 10 megawatt solar power generation project in Kabul was inaugurated in the presence of Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the Deputy Prime Minister for Economic Affairs, Mullah Abdul Latif Mansour, the acting head of the Ministry of Water and Energy, and high-ranking officials of the Islamic Emirate.

The solar power generation project with a capacity of 10 megawatts is being implemented by the Ministry of Water and Energy with the investment of Aufi Bahram mining and processing company in Naghlu area of Kabul province for 10 months.

Officials of the Ministry of Energy and Water say that the electricity generated from the mentioned project will be connected to the public grid after implementation and the residents of Kabul and Jalalabad will benefit from it.
