The United Nations is holding a meeting on Afghanistan today

The United Nations Deputy Mission in Afghanistan has announced that the Security Council of this organization is going to hold a meeting today (Tuesday) regarding Afghanistan.

UNAMA said in a statement that Roza Otunbayeva, the head of this organization, is going to give explanations to the council about the situation in Afghanistan in a part of this meeting.

Meanwhile, UNAMA said in another announcement that in the last two years, more than 50 orders have been issued by the Taliban that restrict the rights of women and girls in Afghanistan.
