OCHA announced the donation of 8 million Australian dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs in Afghanistan (OCHA) has announced that Australia has donated 8 million dollars to Afghanistan.

OCHA wrote on X’s social page that the Australian government has donated 8 million US dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund so that these donations can be used for life-saving activities in this country.

This organization added that since the establishment of Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund of Australia, it has provided more than 69 million dollars in aid to this fund.

It should be noted that the World Food Program has announced that it has removed 10 million people in Afghanistan from its aid list due to lack of funds.
