The Afghan embassy in Islamabad reported the killing of several Afghan refugees by the Pakistani police

The Afghan Embassy in Islamabad has announced that the Pakistani police have killed a number of Afghan refugees in different areas of the country while arresting a large number of them.
The embassy wrote on the X social page that during several operations by the Pakistani police in different parts of the country, more than 1,000 Afghan refugees, half of whom had legal immigration documents, were arrested.
The Afghan embassy added that during these operations, several Afghan refugees were also killed by the police.
The embassy named Faridullah, Amanullah, Wali, Shams and Darwish among the murdered refugees and said that the bodies of these refugees were found in hospitals and some other areas.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, despite the repeated promises of the Pakistani authorities, the arrest and harassment of Afghan refugees by the police in that country still continues.
The Afghan embassy has asked the Pakistani government to stop the ongoing persecution of Afghan refugees, which has a negative impact on the relationship between the two countries.
