Türkiye sent aid packages to earthquake victims in Afghanistan

The Ministry of Defense of Turkey has announced sending aid packages to earthquake victims in northwest Afghanistan.

The Ministry wrote on the X social page that the aircraft belonging to the Turkish Air Force, which carries the aid materials and equipment needed by the Crisis and Emergency Management Directorate (AFAD) of this country, has been requested from the Mürted Airfield Command and will deliver the mentioned aid in Afghanistan.

The Ministry of Defense of Turkey added: “We are bringing the help of our country to Afghanistan.”

It should be noted that the earthquake on Saturday of this week, which the US Geological Survey declared as 6.2 on the Richter scale, has killed more than 2,500 people.
