The first phase of Qoshtipeh canal was put into operation

Mullah Abdul Ghani Baradar, the economic deputy of the Ministry of Ministers yesterday (Wednesday) during a ceremony, inaugurated the operation of the first phase and the start of the second phase of the Qoshtipeh canal.

Abdul Salam Hanafi, Administrative Deputy of the Minister’s Department, Sirajuddin Haqqani, Minister of Interior, Maulvi Mohammad Yaqub Mujahid, Minister of National Defense and a number of security and civilian officials participated in this ceremony.

In this ceremony, Abdul Ghani Baradar said that the purpose of constructing the Ghosh Tipeh Canal is not to harm others, but its only purpose is self-sufficiency of Afghans and effective use of natural resources.

Officials of the Islamic Emirate say that the first phase of the Qoshtipeh canal is 108 km long, which starts from Kaldar district of Balkh province near the Amu river and passes through the vast plains of Haraytan and extends to Daulat Abad district.

According to them, the affairs of the first phase of the Qoshtipeh canal have been completed eight months before the scheduled time.
