The head of the International Committee of the Red Cross met with Abbas Stanekzai

Ilva Fillion, the head of the International Committee of the Red Cross and his accompanying delegation met with Sher Mohammad Abbas Stanekzai, the political deputy of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Emirate.

Hafiz Zia Ahmed, the deputy spokesperson of this ministry, wrote on page X that in this meeting, Mr. Ilva appreciated the facilities and cooperation of the Islamic Emirate to advance the activities of the Red Cross in Afghanistan.

In this meeting, Katrina Ritz, the new head of the International Committee of the Red Cross, was also present and promised that the assistance of the International Committee of the Red Cross will continue with the people of Afghanistan.
