Japan donates one million dollars to the earthquake victims of Herat

The World Food Program has announced a donation of one million dollars from Japan for the victims of the earthquake in Herat.

This organization said in a statement that these donations will help to treat nearly 33 thousand people affected by the Herat earthquake.

The World Food Program added that Japan’s latest aid worth more than 17.4 million dollars was provided to this organization at the beginning of this year, which will be used to provide nutrition and humanitarian services in Afghanistan.

According to WFP, the organization plans to support 118,000 people with emergency food aid and long-term resilience programs that help communities rebuild their livelihoods.
