The presidents of Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan discussed the development of bilateral relations
Shaukat Mirziyoyev, President of Uzbekistan, met and talked with Sardar Berdimuhamedov, President of Turkmenistan, who arrived in Tashkent to participate in the Economic Cooperation Organization (ECO) Summit.
In this meeting, the parties mentioned the continuous development and strengthening of multilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan and the deep strategic partnership between the two countries.
The presidents of the two countries also emphasized that practical cooperation between Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan in the fields of trade, industry, energy, water management, transportation and other priority areas is expanding.
In this meeting, the presidents of the two countries reviewed the regional agenda and issues of cooperation within the framework of multilateral structures.
