A tripartite meeting was held between the officials of Uzbekistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan

The Embassy of Afghanistan in Islamabad has announced that as a result of tripartite negotiations between the Ministers of Industry and Trade of Afghanistan, Pakistan and the Deputy Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, the minutes of the meeting on issues related to trade and transit between the three countries have been signed.
The embassy added that the strengthening of trilateral economic relations and regional connectivity through the development of trade, more transit facilities, increasing joint investments and reducing costs were emphasized in this meeting.
According to the Afghan Embassy in Islamabad, the meeting emphasized the creation of transportation facilities, electrification of customs systems, strengthening and expansion of the banking system, food safety, issuing visas, solving transit problems, and strengthening trilateral transit.
