The Central Bank announced the fire of more than 972 million Mandars banknotes

Da Afghanistan Bank announced that over 972 million Afghanis worth of Mandars banknotes were set on fire in Balkh province.
This bank wrote on page X that Noor Ahmad Agha, the first deputy of Da Afghanistan Bank, and his accompanying delegation were present at the burning ceremony of these banknotes.
Da Afghanistan Bank added that these banknotes are worth 972,799,000 Afghanis and include denominations of 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100, 500 and 1000 Afghanis.
