Alparslan Türkeş student dormitory opened in Afghanistan

With the initiative of the Afghanistan-based Irfan Association and the support of Turkish philanthropists, Alparslan Türkeş Male Student Dormitory was opened.
Students without financial means will stay free of charge in the student dormitory, which is opened in Shibirghan, the centre of Jowizjan province of Northern Afghanistan.
Speaking at the opening ceremony, Irfan Association Vice President Ali Ashna said that the Alparslan Türkeş Male Student Dormitory was opened with the support of Turkish philanthropists.
Stating that students who do not have financial means will stay in this dormitory free of charge, Ashna said, “We hope that individuals useful for the people and nation, being proud of the dormitory’s name, will be raised here.” Currently, 12 students stay in this dormitory free of charge.
Irfan Association, with the support of Turkish philanthropists and Turkish Association, carries out activities in the fields of education, health and water wells in addition to humanitarian aid activities in Afghanistan.
