Switzerland donates 1.9 million dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund

The United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Aid (OCHA) has announced the donation of 1.9 million dollars from Switzerland to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

On Sunday, the 29th of Aquarius, this department wrote on page X that Switzerland has donated 1.7 million francs, which is equivalent to 1.9 million dollars, to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

At the same time, Ocha has not said anything about the sector in which this amount of money sent by Switzerland will be used.

Previously, Switzerland had donated four million dollars to the Afghanistan Humanitarian Fund.

Earlier, Ocha announced that internally displaced persons, the return of migrants to Afghanistan, climate change and lack of funds are among the major challenges in Afghanistan, which have increased the need for humanitarian aid.
