Severe earthquake in the city of Mazar-i-Sharif

A number of residents of the city of Mazar-e-Sharif in northern Afghanistan reported the occurrence of a relatively strong earthquake in this city around 03:50 local time.

The US Geological Center wrote that this magnitude 5 earthquake occurred 19 km southwest of Balkh.
