The World Food Program provides cash assistance to more than 6,000 families

The local officials of the Islamic Emirate in Takhar say that the World Food Program is distributing cash aid to 6,273 families in Talaqan, the capital of this province.

Samiullah Samimi, media officer of the Rural Development Department of the Islamic Emirate. He said that the process of distributing this aid has started (Monday, 7 August) and will continue for three days.

According to him, 3,200 Afghanis in cash will be distributed to each family.
