 The Islamic Emirate’s efforts to solve Afghanistan’s electricity shortage

The Ministry of Water and Energy says that the practical work of the 500 KV power line transmission project has started from Khaja Alwan plain of Pul Khomri city in the capital of Baghlan province to Arghandi in Kabul under the management of this ministry and the investment of a private company.

According to this ministry, with the implementation of this project, more than 1,000 megawatts of additional electricity will be transferred from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan, which will not only solve the problems of lack of electricity in Kabul and its 12 neighboring provinces, but also provide employment opportunities for hundreds of people.
