Two people were killed in an attack on a car belonging to Herat’s deputy national security chief

Sayed Abdul Wahid Qetali says that the incident took place in Sayed Mokhtar area of the 12th district of Herat city this morning (Monday, Feb 22).

Mr. Qetali said a bodyguard and a driver of the Herat National Directorate of Security were killed in the incident.

The governor of Herat said that the deputy of national security of Herat was not present in his car when unknown people attacked.

No one has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
