The implementation of the corona vaccine has begun in Afghanistan

The implementation of the 500,000 doses of Corona vaccine, which was assisted by India to Afghanistan, began today (Tuesday, Feb 23) and the first recipient of the vaccine was a female journalist.
The prigram was attended by the President and his deputies, a number of cabinet members, the Speakers of the House of Representatives and the Senate, the Ambassador of India in Kabul.
President Ghani said the corona was well managed in Afghanistan.
Mr Ghani also said that new strains of the virus were spreading and that the threat had not yet been completely eliminated.
According to the plan, the vaccine is to be first applied to health workers and security and defense forces.
According to the latest statistics, the number of people infected with the corona virus in Afghanistan reaches 55,646 and the number of victims is 2,435.
