More than 26 Taliban fighters have been killed in operations by security and defense forces

A statement from the Ministry of Defense said that in the past 24 hours, defense and security forces, backed by commandos and the air force, targeted the Arghandab and Shah Walikut districts of Kandahar province.

According to the statement, 26 Taliban were killed and three others were wounded in the operations, and large areas of Arghandab district in the province were cleared of Taliban.

Also in these operations, 3 positions, 10 vehicles, the amount of weapons and ammunition of this group were destroyed.

The Taliban have not yet responded.
