A prosecutor was assassinated in Kabul

Ferdows Faramarz; spokesman for the Kabul Police told that around 08:20 this morning (Monday, March 8) in the fifth district of Kampani Road, a man named Mirwais Samadi; Killed by unknown men.

He did not comment on the identity of the man, adding that the incident was under investigation.

Meanwhile, sources say that the person killed was a prosecutor in Maidan Wardak province.

Targeted assassinations have increased dramatically in recent months.

The victims of these assassinations are government employees, security forces and civil activists.
