Pakistani media: Positive polio cases detected in 21 districts of Pakistan

Pakistani media reported that the polio virus variant (WPV1) has been detected in 21 different districts of the country.

The report said that these environmental samples were collected from Muzaffarabad, Dera Bugti, Hub, Khuzdar, Noshki, Nasirabad, Islamabad, Peshawar, Lahore, East Karachi and several other areas.

Pakistan and Afghanistan are among the countries where there are still positive polio cases.
