Three public guards were killed in a Taliban attack on the Herat Dam

The National Directorate of Water Affairs reports that three public security forces were killed in a Taliban attack on the Pashdan dam in Herat.
Nizamuddin Khaplwak; spokesman for the National Water Regulatory Authority said that today (Tuesday, March 16), a group of Taliban militants attacked the Pashdan dam in Herat, killing three members of the public security forces and taking four security forces with them.
However, Jilani Farhad; spokesman for the governor of Herat said that after the attack, security forces pursued the attackers and killed five Taliban fighters in the village of Tunian in the Pashtun Zarghun district of Herat.
Pashdan Dam is located in the east of Herat city in Karkh district.
