The Ministry of Foreign Affairs today (Monday, March 22) confirmed in a statement that 4 people were killed and 2 were rescued in the Chaldoran area of ​​Urmia on the Iranian-Turkish border due to being trapped in cold stormy weather.

According to a statement from the Afghan embassies in Ankara and Tehran, two bodies have been handed over to their families.

The ministry called on citizens to refrain from illegal travel that carries the risk of death and not to be deceived by human traffickers.
