Sixteen Taliban fighters, including two leaders, were killed and wounded in Faryab

A 209th Shaheen Corps newsletter reported that 9 Taliban fighters, including Qari Ghulam Nabi, a Taliban leader, seven others were killed last night in clashes between the National Defense Forces and the Taliban in the Qaisar and Khaja Sabzposh districts of Faryab province.

According to the newsletter, in these incidents, three vehicles belonging to this group were destroyed and the quantities of weapons and military equipment were also seized by the National Defense and Security Forces.
