Seoul sends new military-spy satellite into orbit

South Korea has put its fourth military-spy satellite into orbit with US help, aimed at monitoring North Korea.

The Falcon 9 rocket launched from Cape Canaveral Space Center at 8:58 p.m. Monday (local time), and the satellite was placed in its designated orbit at 9:03 p.m. local time.
