Four security forces were killed in Nangarhar

Security sources in Nangarhar reported that four policemen were killed and four others were wounded in a Taliban attack on a security checkpoint in the province.

Farid Khan; Nangarhar police spokesman said the incident took place last night (6 April) in the Ghazi Baba area of ​​Sorkhrud district in Nangarhar, as a result of which the checkpoint fell to the Taliban.

Mr Farid said security forces had regained control of the checkpoint in Ghaziabad-e-Sorkhrud after launching a counter-offensive operation.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
