The head of the Supreme Council of National Compromise met with the special representative of the United Nations

A statement from National Reconciliation Council say Dr. Abdullah Abdullah, the head of the High Council of National Compromise, met with Ms. Deborah Lines, the special representative of the United Nations Secretary General in Afghanistan, at their office in Sepidar Palace.

In this visit, the two parties discussed the latest developments and progress in the peace process, the preparations for the Istanbul meeting and the peace plan of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
