Taliban: We do not attend any conference

Spokesman for the Taliban’s political bureau said they would not attend any meeting until all foreign troops left Afghanistan.

Naeem Wardak; Taliban spokesman tweeted that the group would not attend any meetings until all foreign troops had left Afghanistan.

“Until all foreign troops leave our country, the Islamic Emirate of Afghanistan will not participate in any conference on Afghanistan,” the statement said.

The Washington Post quoted sources familiar with the Jobiden plan as saying that the US president is due to withdraw all US troops from Afghanistan by September 11 this year.
