More than 103,000 tons of goods were transported via railways in a week

The Ministry of Public Works of the Islamic Emirate announced that 103,466 tons of goods were transported via Afghan railways in a week.

Mohammad Ashraf Haghshenas, spokesman for the Ministry of Public Works, wrote in a press release today (Monday, July 20) that these transfers were carried out from July 20 to 26.

According to the press release, 75,495 tons of goods were transported from Hairatan Port, 8,726 tons from Aqineh Port, 12,272 tons from Turghandi Port, and 6,973 tons from Khaf-Herat.

According to Haghshenas, the exports included oil, non-oil and other goods.

The spokesperson for the Ministry of Public Works added that part of these transfers were exports, with 193 tons of goods exported by rail in one week, including dried fruit and pomegranate juice.
