Sardar Gurbanov meets with Herat Governor: Work on Turgandi Port Development Project to begin soon

The governor’s press office reported that a delegation of Turkmenistan Railways headed by Sardar Gurbanov, “CEO of the Railway Agency Joint Stock Companies” of the country, met with Maulana Islamjar, the governor of the province, and discussed the development of Turgandi Port and the construction of the port’s hangars, and announced that they would soon begin construction of the port’s hangars.

They added that all workers in this project will be Afghan citizens and called for the cooperation of the local administration in facilitating the work of this project.

According to the press release, Maulana Islamjar, the governor of Herat, welcomed the start of this project and assured the Turkmen delegation that the local administration would fully cooperate in implementing this project.

The press release states that the governor of Herat also described the employment of Afghan workers as good news and promised that necessary facilities would be provided in the field of issuing visas for Turkmen employees.
