63 civilians have been killed in the past 10 days

The Interior Ministry said in a statement that 63 civilians had been killed and 180 injured in the past 10 days.

According to statistics released by the ministry today (Sunday, April 25), the civilians were killed and wounded in six suicide attacks and 63 explosions from 14th April to 24th April this year.

Tariq Arian; Spokesman for the Interior Ministry said a number of senior commanders and members of the Taliban had been killed by government forces in response to this group attacks.

The Taliban have not yet commented on the figures.
