63 Taliban fighters were killed in different parts of the country

The Ministry of Defense announced that 63 Taliban fighters were killed in separate operations by the defense and security forces in different parts of the country.

The ministry said in a statement that the Taliban fighters were killed yesterday during operations by security and defense forces in Ghazni and Kandahar provinces.

The statement added that 15 of their fighters were wounded in the operations and a large amount of their weapons and ammunition were destroyed.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
