A soldier was killed in an explosion at Bagram base

Security officials in Parwan say 25 people have been killed and injured in an explosion inside a mosque in Bagram base.

Abdul Wase Rahimi; The security chief of Parwan police says that the explosion took place at around 9:00 last night (April 30) inside a mosque at Bagram base while security forces were performing Taraweeh prayers.

Mr. Rahimi added that one security guard was killed and 24 others were injured in the incident.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attack.
