A person rescued in Herat from kidnappers

Authorities in Herat say a shop owner has been rescued from kidnappers.

Wahid Qetali; the governor of Herat says that this person was abducted from the center of Herat city in front of the sports stadium three days ago.

According to Mr. Qetali, this person was rescued by the security forces from the kidnappers on the Herat-Islam-Qala highway.

Mr. Qetali also says that this person is not psychologically well and is being treated for the violence.

He added that over the past three days, National Security Directorate personnel have launched several operations to stabilize his whereabouts and rescue him.
