More than 14,000 foreign citizens traveled to Afghanistan in the first six months of the year

The National Statistics and Information Office of the Islamic Emirate announced that during the first six months of this year, 14,829 foreign citizens traveled to and from the country through ports and airports.

According to the office’s report, 8,516 foreign citizens entered the country during this period and 6,936 others left the country.

Of these, 1,315 people traveled to the country to visit historical and archaeological sites, and the rest traveled to the country for work and educational purposes.
