A woman in Takhar threw herself and her three children into a river

Takhar police say a woman and her three children drowned in a river.

Khalil Asir; Takhar police spokesman said the incident took place in Lozhdeh village of Farkhar district of the province.

Mr. Asir added that a woman threw herself and her three children into the river yesterday (Monday, May 3) after burning her house.

The woman was 25 years old and her name was Fahimeh, and her three children, six years old, two years old, and four years old, who were two girls and a boy, were pulled out of the river by the police with the cooperation of the people.

Takhar police say the woman’s husband has been arrested and is under investigation.
