Sar-e-Rawza district’s police chief was killed in a landmine explosion in Paktia province

Security sources in Paktia reported that the police chief of Sar-e-Rawza district was killed in an explosion.

Shah Mohammad Arian; Paktia police spokesman said the provincial police chief had been killed in an explosion while on his way to help the army in the Diwana Baba area of ​​Sar-e-Rawza district.

Mr. Arian added that three of his bodyguards were also injured in the blast.

The Taliban have not yet commented.
