40,000 Islamic Emirate Members Receiving Training at Vocational Centers

Fazl-ur-Rahman Fazel, Deputy Head of the Technical and Vocational Education Authority, says that currently 40,000 members of the Islamic Emirate across the country are receiving training at the agency’s educational centers.
Speaking at a graduation ceremony for Islamic Emirate members who completed a two-year program in administration and management in Ghazni province, Mr. Fazel added that training opportunities will soon be provided to 4,820 prisoners, including female inmates, in 41 different fields.
He stated at the event: “We plan to provide training for 4,820 prisoners, including women, across 34 provinces of Afghanistan in 41 disciplines.”
Some of the graduates say that completing these training programs has helped reduce administrative challenges and has made the process of delivering services to the public faster and more standardized.
They call on the relevant authorities to expand such training opportunities.
Rahimullah Badri, one of the graduates, said: “In the past, we faced issues in management. Thankfully, 95% of those problems have now been resolved.”
Khwaja Mohammad Darwish, another graduate, said: “Previously, we had difficulties in handling outgoing, incoming, and internal correspondence. In this training program, we learned skills that now allow us to handle all these issues ourselves.”
According to officials from the Technical and Vocational Education Authority, approximately 84,000 individuals are currently studying in 122 different disciplines at 375 training centers across the country.
