Five people were killed and injured in an explosion in Nangarhar

Security sources in Nangarhar say five people have been killed and injured in a landmine explosion in the province.

Farid Khan; Nangarhar police spokesman said that a civilian car was targeted by a landmine in Shirzad district of the province at around 6 am today (Wednesday, May 12).

According to Mr. Khan, two people were killed and three others were injured in the incident.

No one or group has claimed responsibility for the attack.
