17 Taliban fighters, including a district governor of this group, killed in Baghlan

The 217th Pamir Corps reports that 12 Taliban fighters were killed and wounded in Baghlan’s Nahrin district.

A statement issued by the army today (Saturday, May 22) stated that the Taliban fighters were killed and wounded as a result of an airstrike by the army in Nahrin district of Baghlan.

On the other hand, some sources in Baghlan reported that five Taliban fighters, including Qari Amrullah; The district governor of the group killed in Gozargah Noor district of the province.

The sources said that 5 fighters of this group were also wounded in the clashes between the army forces and the Taliban.
