The acting Minister of Defense traveled to Laghman province to review the security situation

The Laghman press office reported in a newsletter that the acting head of the Ministry of National Defense and the chief of staff of the army had visited the province to review the security situation.

According to the newsletter, Mohammad Yasin Zia, Acting Minister of National Defense, Khoshhal Sadat, First Deputy Minister of National Security and Deputy Chief of Operations, headed a military delegation to the province and met with the Governor of the province.

The purpose of the visit was to review the security situation, repel the Taliban and launch ground and air operations in the province.
