Nazari: West Seeking Strategic Goals in Afghanistan Through Soft Warfare

The deputy of the minister of economy, Abdul Latif Nazari, said that countries opposing the Islamic Emirate have launched an ideological and media war, and that winning this war requires strong coordination between the people and the government.

Speaking at a gathering organized by the Shia High Commission in Kabul under the theme “Strengthening the Islamic Governement and Defending the Territorial Integrity of the Country,” Nazari added that Western countries are trying to achieve their strategic goals in Afghanistan through ideological warfare.

Nazari stated: “The enemy has begun its efforts through a third path, a war of narratives, a soft and hybrid war aimed at controlling public opinion in order to reach its strategic and geopolitical objectives in Afghanistan.”

The organizers said the event aimed to strengthen unity and coordination between the people and the government.

Participants emphasized that the public must have a role in governance and that harmony between the people and the Islamic Emirate should grow stronger.

The head of the Shia Commission, Mohammad Ali Akhlaqi, said: “We call on Afghan businessmen living abroad to return to their country, join hands, and work together for the future of the nation and the new generation.”

Participant Hasan Fazelzada said: “Those who seek to create division among the Islamic community must be stopped. The Islamic system has the capacity to do so, and this contributes to its strength.”

Zar Mohammad Haqqani, head of the Scholars and Clerics Department, said: “Westerners have created a version of Islam to mislead Muslims and pave the way for Western domination. They call it ‘civilized Islam’ or ‘democratic republican Islam’, all of which are fabricated religions opposed to true Islam.”

It is worth noting that last Saturday, the Ministry of Borders, Ethnicities, and Tribal Affairs also held a conference titled “Stability of the Government, Unity of the People, and Public Welfare,” where participants reaffirmed their support for the Islamic Emirate.
