41 people were released from a Taliban prison in Herat

The Ministry of National Defense announced the release of 41 people from a Taliban prison in Herat province.
The detainees were released from a Taliban prison in the village of Marawah in the Pashtun-e-Zarghun district as a result of a joint operation by Special Forces Commandos, the National Special Forces Brigade and the 2nd Western Brigade, the ministry said in a statement.
According to the newsletter, 19 of the 41 released prisoners are military.
In this operation seven Taliban fighters were killed.
The Taliban have not yet commented.
