Taliban attack to Doab district of Nuristan province failed

Local sources in Nuristan report the defeat of the Taliban in the Doab district of the province by security forces.

Hafiz Abdul Qayyum; The governor of Nuristan says that on Tuesday morning, Taliban fighters from several directions attacked the checkpoints in the Doab district of the province, which was repulsed by security forces.

Mr. Abdul Qayyum added that as a result of this attack, Taliban governor to Noorgram district, including four militants this group, were killed.
