62 people were released from Taliban prisons in Baghlan

The 209th Shaheen Corps reports the release of 62 people from a Taliban prison in Baghlan province.

Last night, special commando forces carried out an operation against Taliban fighters in the central Baghlan district of Baghlan province, the statement said.

According to the newsletter, as a result of this operation, this prison was destroyed and 62 prisoners were released from it.

According to the newsletter, four Taliban fighters were killed in the operation, and their prison was destroyed with a large amount of ammunition and weapons.

The Taliban have not yet commented.

Meanwhile, the army released 41 people from a Taliban prison in Herat province as a result of an operation yesterday.

The detainees were released from a Taliban prison in the village of Marawa in the Pashtun-e-Zarghoon district as a result of a joint operation by Special Forces Commandos and the Special Forces Brigade and the 2nd West Brigade, according to a Ministry of Defense newsletter.

According to the newsletter, 19 of the 41 released prisoners are military.
