Two people were killed as a result of verbal tensions between two government forces in Faryab

Security officials in Faryab say two people have been killed as a result of verbal tensions in the province.

Karim Yoresh, Faryab police spokesman said a man and a woman were killed when verbal tensions erupted between a police officer and a regional army soldier in Maimana.

Mr. Yoresh added that a woman and a child were also injured in the incident.

According to him, one person has been arrested by the police in connection with this incident.
