Three people were assassinated in two separate incidents in Kabul

Kabul police say three people were killed by unknown gunmen in two separate incidents.

Kabul police spokesman Ferdows Faramarz said three people, two of them were security guards, were killed in two separate incidents this morning (Monday, June 7).

Mr. Faramarz added that one of the two incidents took place in the area of Mayobin town and the other in the village of Kajal in the eighth district of Kabul.

According to Mr. Faramarz, the two killed were security officers Zabihullah and Samiullah, but he said the identity of the third victim had not yet been established.

No group or individual has claimed responsibility for the attacks.
