Spinzar Company Increases Paper Tissue Output by 60%

Officials at the Spinzar State Company in Kunduz say the production of kitchen rolls and paper tissues has increased by 60 percent.

According to the officials, the products have been distributed to various provinces as well as Kabul, helping meet much of the demand in markets across the northeastern provinces.

Haroon Mohammadi, head of the Spinzar State Company in Kunduz, said: “The capacity of our production machinery has increased, and we now have output that meets market demand.”

Harisullah Hazim, the company’s sales manager, said: “Our headquarters are in Kunduz, where we also have an active sales office. In addition, we have sales branches in Kabul, Baghlan, Takhar, and the districts of Kunduz.”

Residents say domestic production can help meet market demand and reduce reliance on imports.

Mosaddeq Nabizada, a resident of Badakhshan, said: “The paper tissues produced in Kunduz are of high quality and reasonably priced. If the government supports these products, we will no longer need imports from other countries.”

Officials at the Spinzar State Company say they have met the needs of markets in northeastern Afghanistan and have expanded distribution of their products beyond the capital to other provinces.
