Three people were arrested in connection with targeted assassinations in Parwan

The Interior Ministry says a group of three people have been arrested in connection with targeted assassinations in Parwan.

The ministry said in a statement that the group of three had been arrested as a result of a security operation in the Sayed Khel district of Parwan province.

The bulletin added that the three were members of the Taliban and had been involved in most targeted assassinations in the country.

The three continue to be accused of assassinating government employees and civil society activists.
