130 Taliban fighters joined peace process in Herat

Officials in Herat say 130 Taliban fighters have joined the peace process in the province.

One hundred and thirty Taliban members joined the peace process in Herat province today with their weapons and facilities, according to a newsletter from the Herat governor’s office.

According to the newsletter, these Taliban Fighters handed over a significant amount of light and heavy weapons and ammunition to the Department of National Security.
